Report of a match between Poole HC v The Trojans (Southampton) played at King’s Park, Boscombe on 31st Oct.
The Trojans won 1-0.
The report states ‘The game was marred by a good deal of fouling, turning on the ball, sticks and “hand-ball” being far too frequent, especially on the Trojans’ side.”
Mention was made of the loss to Poole HC of R. Cromie who was leaving for Ceylon.
