We are passionate about developing players of all ages and abilities, and great coaching is at the heart of that. Whether you’re an experienced coach or never coached before and keen to get involved, we’d love to support you on your coaching journey. Speak to a Club Officer who'll talk through the options, answer your questions and help you get you involved.

Coaching is a brilliant way to:

• Develop leadership skills
• Deepen your understanding of the game
• Support players’ growth and confidence
• Give back to the club and wider hockey community

You don’t need to be an expert to start, just bring enthusiasm, a willingness to learn and a desire to help others enjoy their hockey.

Coaching At Poole Hockey Club

We are committed to helping our coaches grow. We’ll help you take the next step and make sure you feel welcomed, supported and valued in your coaching role.

We are very thankful to everyone who volunteers their time to coach. As a small token of appreciation, we offer:

• x1 free of charge match per junior tournament / match attended, regardless of experience and qualification
• Per session coached financial incentive based on qualifications, experience and level of responsibility, rates outlined in the below document.
