Membership & Match Fees

We manage our club membership via a mobile app called Teamo. Once you've decided you want to join and you're all set up on Teamo, all fees will be invoiced through Teamo and payment should be made through Teamo.

England Hockey Player Registration Fee

From September 2025, England Hockey have introduced an annual player registration fee:

• £15.50 for teens and adults
• £10.00 for U12s

Included in your England Hockey registration:

• Personal accident insurance providing protection every time you step on the pitch
• Free courses in coaching, officiating, and safeguarding
• Free-to-air hockey on Channel 4 means more people can watch the sport you love

Poole Hockey Club Membership Fees

A core part of Poole Hockey Club is to provide coaching for our members. To deliver on this, and to meet our wider objectives, we have a membership fee that covers these essential costs. As well as providing coaching, membership fees also cover some costs also associated with playing matches, including club equipment, league fees, England Hockey team affiliation, DBS checks, Teamo, the upkeep of goalkeeping equipment.

Membership fees are invoiced in 3 equal instalments. The club has a number of financial obligations at the beginning of the season so prompt payment is appreciated.

Joining mid‑season? No problem, we’ll prorate your membership so you only pay for the time left.

Fees for season 2025/26 (1st May 2025 - 30th June 2026):

• Family (see note 1 below) £212.75
• Senior (working 30hrs or more per week) £149.50
• Concession (see note 2 below) £92.00
• Social (see note 3 below) £92.00
• Junior pay as you go option, £5.18/session (no annual PHC membership fee)

Note 1: Designed for families living at the same address. Must include at least one member who is aged 18 or under on 1st Sept 2025. All family members are responsible for the fees until payment is made in full.

Note 2: Full-time education with more than 16 hrs study per week / on an official apprenticeship scheme which includes study / working less than 30hrs per week.

Note 3: Social membership is suited to those wanting to attend coaching sessions without the ability/desire to commit to regular matches. This allows for up to 7 matches to be played, priority will be given to full members and therefore we cannot guarantee matches when available to play.

For players taking part in occasional fixtures only, we allow up to four matches to be played without requiring full club membership.
