Poole Hockey Club is committed to providing a safe, supportive and positive environment for everyone involved in our sport. We take our responsibility seriously and work hard to safeguard the welfare of all participants, protecting them from poor practice, abuse and bullying.
As a club offering opportunities for young people, we recognise our duty of care. This means doing everything reasonably expected of us to help keep young people safe from any foreseeable harm.
Safeguarding is a shared responsibility. Every member of the hockey community, including parents, coaches, club officers and volunteers, plays an important role in promoting the safety and wellbeing of young people.
We have a strictly enforced Safeguarding Policy, available below, which everyone involved with Poole Hockey Club are directed to read and use as reference for any issues that might be of concern.
Safeguarding issues and concerns should be directed to our Welfare Officer.
